What a day! With over 50 gymnasts taking part in the competition it was an exciting day for all. Throughout the day the gymnasts were successfully completing routine after routine, showing that the great work put into practice in the gym was paying off the consistency of the gymnasts was outstanding.
With only two presentations one at lunch and one at the end of the day it was unclear how much success the gymnasts had actually had until that point. The excitement came when gymnasts from Central Galaxy were being called one after one onto the podium, making it our most successful West Midlands Championships to date. One of our gymnasts George won the Bob Burlton memorial trophy for the highest execution scores achieved on the day as well.
The day ended with a very big surprise, Central Galaxy Coventry was crown the best club on trampoline in the West Midlands for 2019, something we are extremely proud of and something we have work very hard to succeed.
