On Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September, 8 gymnasts competed at the final qualifying competition of the trampoline league.
Up first on Saturday was Rosie competing in the 11-12 girls league 3 competition, unfortunately her first routine didn’t go to plan however she showed she was a great competitor got back on for her second routine and performed it brilliantly.
Millie competed next in the 13-14 girls, with a great first routine, she got back on for her second with confidence, competing a new routine for the first time she made a small error at the end of the routine.
Dan and Becky competed at the end of the day in the 13-14 boys and 19+ ladies, both safely through their routines earning points towards the finals.
Sunday saw Millie and Dan compete in double mini trampoline, this was the first time anyone from the club had achieved this level. All the coaches were extremely proud of both of them for the hard work they put in to compete at this level.
Two clean passes from Millie meant she gained points towards the finals, Dan completed his first pass brilliantly but unfortunately made an error in his second.
On the trampoline Mahisha competed in the 15-16 girls league 2 and Liza competed in the 13-14 girls league 1 competition. Both through their routines and both earning points towards the finals. Liza even managed to take home the bronze medal.
