Sunday 15th March was a first for the club, after years of competing on trampoline it was our first experience of attending a gymnastics competition out of our club environment.
Five of our gymnasts travelled to Fenton Manor in Stoke for the George Finney Floor and Vault competition.
All competing in the beginners level each of them performed a floor routine and vault, it was a great first experience for them.
Results were as follows:
U9 Girls – Emily – 6th place
U11 Girls – Ava – 2nd place
U13 Girls – Phoebe – 1st place
U15 Girls – Izzy – 2nd place
U15 Girls – Maiya – 4th place
We can’t wait to head out again later in the year for another competition with more of our gymnasts.
