Silver Level – Saturday
Aidan competed at his first English finals and did a great job to make the final and finish in 8th place.
Libby and Aimee competed in the 11-12 girls, both lovely first routines. Libby in her second routine decided to use the corner instead of the middle and kept us on our toes through the routine but finished. Aimee competed her new skill and made the top 8, she went for broke in the final but this time it wasn’t meant to be finishing in 8th.
Amber also competed in her first English finals, doing a great routine but then got a little excited through her second and ended up at the end of trampoline with a centimetre to spare, she fought well to finish her 10 skills.
Gold Level – Sunday
Jemma was up first, two solid routines to but her in the top 8 and then finished 4th in the final.
Will competed in his first gold level finals, competing two outstanding routines and putting himself in the final, finishing in 5th place.
George and Kim were next and they had to contend with an accident on the trampoline. George was bouncing as it happened and Kim had to wait whilst the girl was moved off the trampoline on a spinal board (I can confirm she is ok). Kim through both of her routines and finished in 9th place. George adapted his second routine but made it to the final and in the final took home the bronze medal.
Dan was last up in the individual and also for him this was the first time he was taking on gold level. A great first routine but unfortunately an error in his second, finishing in 13th place.
Onto the synchro, Jemma competed with her partner from Liverpool, after a great first routine. Unfortunately she did the wrong skill in her second routine. And finally, George and Dan were up – two great routines crowned them English Champions!
What a weekend! 💜
